I had my final design appointment with Suzanne at the beginning of December. Here are my final design choices for the main floor.
My Final Choices - Main Floor
I stayed with almost everything I was originally leaning towards in Option #1:
- natural maple shaker cabinets
- Mirage Classic Maple hardwood floors in Vienna, 2 and 1/4 inches
- the reddish brown backsplash tile (Chinook noce brown 4×4)
- kitchen countertop 4728-60 (sorry, I don’t have a name)
I did change my mind on the floor tile, opting for the more interesting of the 2 I had narrowed it down to: Angora Portofino Lava 13×13.

Overall I am very happy with my choices. The light cabinets and darker floors and countertops provide contrast. The selections work well with my colour scheme as well. I am looking forward to my warm, modern main floor!
